The St. Teresa Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of dedicated parents and teachers whose common goal is to enhance the education of every child at St. Teresa School. The organization fosters communication and cooperation between families and school. It promotes the welfare of our children by creating a greater appreciation of Catholic Education. The PTO provides a labor pool of volunteers to assist at school, for the teachers’ use, library, or wherever a need arises. Through the efforts of the volunteers, PTO provides many “extras” for the children.

Effortless opportunities to support the PTO are through the Dollars for Tigers and Schnucks Community Card programs.

DOLLARS FOR TIGERS: The PTO purchases gift cards at a discount (valued at the full face amount) and sells them for face value. Gift cards can be purchased by contacting the PTO through its Facebook page, St. Teresa PTO – Belleville, IL; by completing an order form located in the PTO mailbox at the school office; or by contacting Janet Kaemmerer (jk0995@hotmail.com). Certain weekends throughout the year, cards are available for purchase from a PTO volunteer after the Saturday, 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. Masses. Payment is due at the time the cards are purchased (cash or check only, checks can be made payable to St. Teresa PTO TWB).

For a complete list of retailers participating in the program, visit www.shopwithscrip.com and click retailer list. The PTO does its best to keep cards in stock for some of the more popular retailers such as Panera, Starbucks, Target, Wal-mart, Land’s End (school uniform provider) and Papa John’s (St. Teresa Papa John’s pizza nights).

SCHNUCKS MY SCHNUCKS COMMUNITY CARD: St. Teresa PTO participates in the Schnucks My Schnucks Community Card program. Please consider picking up a FREE My Schnucks Community Card from the PTO mailbox in the school office; from any Schnucks Customer Service counter; or from Janet Kaemmerer (e-mail jk0995@hotmail.com. Register the card to St. Teresa PTO-TWB (Group ID 6573063). Have your card scanned every time you shop at Schnucks and Schnucks will donate a percentage of your purchase amount to St. Teresa PTO.

The PTO appreciates your support of these programs. Please contact Janet Kaemmerer (jk0995@hotmail.com) or the PTO through its Facebook page (St. Teresa PTO – Belleville, IL) if you have any questions.
